This is the infuriating thing - I know they are **** and not corrupt but the randomness of their decisions in similar situations across games is mind boggling incompetence

Regardless of what happens between now and the end of the season, Howard Webb and his motley crew will have a tangible impact on the outcome

Calling it play acting doesn't actually help. Just need to outright call it cheating

The tightening of other rules are making some other stuff like this seem less serious. You (supposedly) get booked for waving an imaginary yellow card, or taking 15 seconds to take a throw or a goal kick, but these attempts to get players sent off and con the referee at most get a yellow,more commonly nothing happens. I think these type of incidents should be reviewed afterwards and players banned for this.
