Thanjk you.

I watched the 2nd half of Brighton Chelsea. The Chelsea players look like they couldn't give a flying ****. A toxic club historically, in the boardroom, on the pitch, the sideline and in the stands.
I hardly recognised their side. How bad is the injury situation over there?
Had a quick look but it didn’t mention Palmer so I found this.
Cole Palmer Thigh Injury Tight Hamstring
See Player Page 26/04/2026 Currently Being Assessed
Current Chelsea FC Injury List and Return Dates:
Reece James (Hamstring): Expected back late April/early May. He is progressing well but not yet ready.
Estevao Willian (Hamstring): Return date unknown, potential Mid-May.
Levi Colwill (ACL): Back in training, potential return late April/early May.
Jamie Bynoe-Gittens (Hamstring): Re-injured, early May.
Joao Pedro (Thigh): Minor doubt for April 21 vs. Brighton.
Enzo Fernandez (Cramp): Minor doubt, expected to be fine for Brighton.
Trevoh Chalobah (Ankle): Ruled out.
Filip Jørgensen (Groin): Under assessment.
Mayra Ramirez (Hamstring): Suffered setbacks, could miss the rest of the season.
Spent Billions and the team looks utterly mediocre and the manager massively out of his depth.
The Cole Palmer hype train has certainly died down.
They were absolute rubbish in the first half with their new formation of 5 at the back. A lot better in the first 20 mins of the second half when they went back to 4 at the back, but still lacked any sort of control or penetration
What was noticeable about Brighton is how they were constantly in motion, giving players multiple passing options and with everyone brave on the ball. Really was a contrast with how static and slow we are on the ball
Also liked the look of Van Hecke, havent seen that much of him. But good on the ball, really mobile and doesn't mind getting stuck in

I would have him at RCB over Konate tbh.
He does not have the 9/10 games that Konate has from time to time, but he rarely seems to have runs of 4/10 games either.
He appears a very consistent performer that does everything pretty well and who would be a great foil for a Bastoni or Schlotterbeck.
Kind of a Henchoz to a Hyppia type player.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
