I reckon its Erik Ten Games at this stage..... Would be surprised if he isn't gone by then. They've had such a ****e season so far but to be honest they haven't actually had difficult fixtures. Their next 10 games are:

Newcastle a
Chelsea h
Bournemouth h
Bayern h
Liverpool a
West ham a
Aston villa h
Forest a
Tottenham h
Wolves a


With their ****e away form and the fact that they are a pretty **** team, every one of those teams will fancy getting something off them. Chelsea and even Bournemouth will fancy catching them on the break at old Trafford . They should have went for Emery as manager.

From the 9 league games in there, I’d be surprised to see them get 9 points!

They have won 5 from last 6 in the league, so even if/when they bomb out of Europe, he'll be safe for a while.

They'll keep picking up enough fluky results to keep things ticking along, which is no bad thing.

Hopefully they back him in January window too, to see which other gems he can unearth.

Multiple police officers have been injured ahead of Aston Villa’s Europa League match against Legia Warsaw.

Missiles were thrown at police as the visiting fans were held in the coach park near Villa Park, before they were due to enter for the Europa Conference League game on Thursday.

Three police officers were injured although the match started as scheduled at 8pm, albeit away supporters were not granted access to the stadium.

A statement from Birmingham Police said: “We’re currently unable to allow away fans into Villa Park following disorder outside the stadium which has seen missiles thrown at officers. Three officers have already been injured & a significant policing operation continues.

Oh absolutely, but he still seems to have a lot of support and people are giving him credit for things like:

Harry Maguire's 'redemption'
Garnacho scoring
Playing an 18 yo in midfield for a couple of games
Being only 2 points behind title challenging Spurs
3 clean sheets in a row in PL

So I'm pleased for them and really looking forward to the game at Anfield.

Arsenal looking good against Wolves. In a good place right now. Looking forward to playing them in a few weeks.

That being said, it's as poor a performance from Wolves as I've seen this year from them, although Arsenal have to be given some credit for that.
