Brighton rested players as well, and tore them apart. Will be interesting to see whether any bigger clubs make a move for De Zerbi in the future, and if he decides to leave.

Brighton are a really interesting club - they have managed to imprint an identity on their playing style that is not dependent on the manager/coach.Originally posted by Phoenix07 View PostBrighton rested players as well, and tore them apart. Very tricky to do, and they've done it well so far. I think Swansea were another club who managed to transition between coaches well in the past, from Martinez, and Sousa, to Rodgers and Laudrup. Eventually, it began to crumble, but admirable to be able to do it for a period of time.

good comparison.
Swansea didn't earn **** loads of cash from selling players though. I remember they sold Bony to Man City for something like 27m, Gylfi to Everton for 45m, Allen to us 15m and maybe ashley williams as well to Everton for 10m.
Brighton though have made about 500m in player sales over the last 3 or 4 years
