They were playing Astana from Kazakhstan and their pitch is being refurbished so their home games are even further East, I think it’s like a 7 hr flight. It’s all moot given Chelsea use a different squad for that tournament

Bring in a rule so they can suspend them for 5 games minimum. Go over the top and players will stop diving if they’re actually missing games and clubs will stop them if players are missing.

Why are they so harsh on players celebrating and taking their tops off, always a yellow, but diving is hardly ever punished.

And yes, they are playing a different squad in that tournament, but I think it's fair to have a late Sunday kick off.

It's a local derby too so no massive amounts of travel for most Brentford fans.
