Others have said it and I’m all for it, ban him for 5+ games and he’ll never do it again. Go extreme. No club or player will risk the ban.

It’s so stupid right now. Celebrating and taking your shirt off and getting emotional is always a yellow, pick the ball up and walk away with it to slow the game - nothing. Fall over with minimal or no contact - nothing. Walking half way done the pitch for throw ins just carry on. Goalkeepers taking forever to restart games - yellow in the 90th minute after doing it all game. They know a ref will never give them a second yellow.

It’s so easy to fix all of this. Not your free kick and you touch the ball - yellow and move the free kick forward. Goalkeeper takes more than say 30 seconds - corner or something for the attacking team.

Dive, fake a head injury or anything else similar - banned for multiple games.

Winds me up so much and is one of the reasons I watch a lot less football. Plus they question every decision. It clearly goes out off of you and they complain that it’s not their throw in. Why do they have to do it for every decision.

It was the linesmen stood 5 yards away that flagged for the foul. It's mental. That was the one that prompted my post, but there were several others. And yes, Newcastle haven't got a leg to stand on themselves when it comes to this stuff, they're both horrible cheats.

I agree with the premise. Egregious cheating should be over-punished. Only way to remove it from the tactical thinking of the manager (who in my opinion is ultimately responsible for it). Stop it from being a tactical option.

Wonderful ideas but it's reliant on the officials VAR etc actually wanting to level the playing field. Which they don't, so they'll just use another method to benefit Arsenal
