In our last game one of the commentators said about the keeper pretending to get hit in the face and dived that that was experience showing. I swear no one calls out divers anymore. Even when theres clearly no contact in replays they always say there was a very light touch. Its part of the game they say.

Depressing. I actually think it is because of commentators and pudits that it is so bad and in reality its nothing new. An entire generation of kids has grown up listening to them talking about clever fouls / taking one for the team and such like. Its normalised.

Needs to be continually called out as cheating.

But if the ref buys it every single time, then honest players are shooting themselves in the foot by not going to ground. I hate it when players dive, but I can see why they do it.
