Wales topping their group with a come from behind 4-1 win over Iceland. And thanks to Montenegro beating Turkey.

Can’t believe Joe Allen is still playing international football, and the whole match at that. There’s a strong Liverpool showing with Bellamy, Allen, Nico Williams, Wilson & Luis Koumas in there ( plus was Danny Ward a Red? )

He is only a year older than VVD. You probably own socks twice his age.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Pretty **** group tbh, Iceland is in a prolonged renewal phase, desperately short on defenders, but this Wales team is not really good IMO, Wilson and Johnson love playing against us, but Iceland threw this game, can't believe Montenegro actually won Turkey as well. Happy this turd fest of a break is over!
              * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Ireland have an unusual set of fixtures for Sep/Oct/Nov where we are up against Hungary at home, home & away vs Armenia then home & away vs Portugal...are we that eager to get our points on the board & game losses vs Portugal out of the way??!!
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

5 goals to Portugal and only Cancelo did a Jota celebration. I expected better.

                        Thats quite harsh.

Their squad spoke about Jota and the impact of his death extensively pre match.

I think being forced to continually publically refer to and acknowledge something that is ultimately a deeply personal feeling of grief will become quite challenging.
                        Modifying post.

I'm not calling them monsters. But for someone who was that popular, and it being the first game of the world cup qualifiers, I sort of thought they'd do something on the pitch. Doesnt need to be done every game obviously, but the first game? A bit more effort.

Scotland to get an extra bank holiday on the first of June to mark the nations return to the WC:

Will likely only apply to public sector workers but since last October, this now includes me
