scum out, arse thorugh to next round and then out is better clarity on what I meant.
I'd rather have Arsenal out in this round. We get more money if there are only 2 teams through plus we get to :bird: to all the Arsenal fans in the many games coming up

If utd lose, and celtic lose, its utd who go out.
Although they'd both be on 9 points, celtic would be in 2nd due to better head to head performance.

Here are the regulations governing this. Celtic's 2 goals at Old Trafford are the difference, so they go through on section C.
4.05 If two or more teams are equal on points on completion of the group matches, the following criteria are applied to determine the rankings:
a) higher number of points obtained in the group matches played among the teams in question;
b) superior goal difference from the group matches played among the teams in question;
c) higher number of goals scored away from home in the group matches played among the teams in question;
d) superior goal difference from all group matches played;
e) higher number of goals scored;
f) higher number of coefficient points accumulated by the club in question, as well as its association over the previous five seasons (see paragraph 6.02).
