CHELSEA'S kitman has been suspended for allegedly selling first team shirts on eBay.

Stewart Bannister, who earns £80,000-a-year, is suspected of taking kit belonging to Petr Cech and Salomon Kalou.

Cech's goalkeeper jersey was offered on the internet auction site for £122 and the asking price for Kalou's shirt was £99.99.

Bannister's girlfriend, a security officer at Stamford Bridge, has also been suspended by the club.

A Chelsea spokesman said: "The matter is under investigation internally."

Last night, it appeared the two shirts were no longer on sale on eBay.

An eBay spokesman said: "We have not been approached but will offer assistance to police if they are contacted by Chelsea.
