    Roman's £500m Blues gift.

    EXCLUSIVE: ROMAN'S £500M BLUES GIFT
    By Paul Smith

ROMAN Abramovich has placed £500million in a trust fund to ensure the future of Chelsea.

Since taking over the Stamford Bridge club in 2003 - and sparking the multi-million-pound spending spree to make Chelsea champions.

There have been fears the club would go into financial meltdown if 40-year-old Abramovich was not around. Abramovich has allayed those fears and set up the trust.

A senior Stamford Bridge source said: "When Roman bought the club he investigated ways to provide funds for the future. In recent times he has reviewed and restructured the way forward in the event he isn't here."

Interest from the trust fund can be used to help with the club's day-to-day running. When he is old enough Roman's football-mad son Arkady, 12, will take over.

Abramovich and his family are at the top of a Scotland Yard list of targets for kidnap and extortion.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

If he was really interested in the long term success of Chelski, he'd build them a Bigger Stadium.

Settling their debts and buying players for huge fees and salaries are short term answers for Glory in the Short term only

£500m. That's about 4 years worth of Chav wages.

I don't know what their current income is, but it'll need to perk up.
