Sorry Fredo but Rooney and Bellers are miles apart. Rooney, as much as we might hate him, is an outstanding footballer, watch some footage of him there's probably loads about on YouTube. His touch, skill and vision beat Bellamy hands down mate.

Rooney was getting stick from the Utd fans I know this afternoon. They're not your usual Shrimp Baguette Brigade but 'genuine' fans with season tickets and they were all slagging him off saying he's a great player at home when they're 2-0 up but he's a liability when they're losing away from home because he loses his composure and starts making rash challenges and wrong decisions.

As one of them said, "he's a great player but he can't change a match like Cantona could and Gerrard can..."

C'mon - if Rooney stays in one piece, mentally and physically, he's going to continue to be a player to frighten any team

I just know that if he played for us the whole tone of this this thread would be different. He's young still. Frightening...

Maybe you're reading a different thread Mick but I can't see anyone doubting Rooney's ability. Well, apart from the Mancs I mentioned earlier and Fredo (and he's a frog anyway so he doesn't count... ) ...

The boy was doomed the moment he was born into a bluenose family. They poisoned his simple mind.

He should've and could've been an LFC legend.

And what kind of behavior does anyone expect from an inbred imbecile anyway?

Fredo, you're a bit of a nutter if you think Bellamy is a better player than Rooney. I like Bellamy as a player but it pains me to say it, he's not in the same league as Rooney.
