    Reed Out, Pardew In

    After about a month and a half Les Reed has left Charlton "by mutual consent" and has been replaced by Alan Pardew.

    The board are right to get Reed out but bringing Pardew in wont save them. He's the wrong man for the job IMO.

      I think he'll save them. He's a good manager is Pardew. Charlton were right to get rid of Reed though.

        They'll win their next game now he's taken over. He's got more about him than the last joker but Im not sure he'll have enough to keep them up. He'll bring them up of they go down though.

              Couldn't stand Reed, thank **** he's gone.
              I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

                Not looking good form them this season at all, think they'll go down but if they can manage to keep hold of Andy Reid, Luke Young,
                they'll have a good chance of going straight back up next season.

                          I've got no idea why they appointed the guy in the first place. Why not make him caretaker for a bit and see if he's up to it? The guy was hopelessly out of his depth
