Anyone watching this, did Salah just walk out and someone touched his shoulder and he said don't touch me there. He may have been joking but it didn't look like it. Good thing Uruguay won't know about his dodgy shoulder.

Attendance looks a bit on the light side

I know teams can start slow, but Uruguay as dark horses looks unlikely. Suarez is out to lunch, little invention in the final third and a midfield fantastic at losing possession.
Egypt standing up for themselves well, if predictably light in offense.

Still..you'd expect one of the Uruguayan lads up top to produce something, but they appear to lack the quality to go far.

                    It's only half-time.

All set up for Salah's cameo. This is roughly what Egypt would have hoped for.

                    Just please don't get injured

Suarez is playing like he just finished a heavy lunch, after a night on the piss.

Uruguay obviously have more quality, Egypt playing with more heart.

I find it astonishing that some of fans care about him playing for Egypt when injured.

Besides despite there being 100m of them, there's barely 10k of them in the stadium.

I don't see that it matters?

If he is going to play, then I hope it goes well for him, that he stays injury free and scores some goals.
