      Quite normal for Phoenix.

I won't lose a wink of sleep when they go out, but I am well on board with this England side. Thought they played well tonight and there's a lot to like about them. No egos, no factions, no baggage. Just an honest, pacey young team who play the right way. Could've been 5-1 up at half-time but, unlike other (more talented) England sides that have huffed and puffed and created nothing, they never resorted to hoofing it, stayed patient, kept playing the right way and got their rewards. Trippier was excellent, Henderson dictated it and was my man of the match, Kane the poacher supreme, there's options from the bench and a lot more to come imo.

It's amusing to see the English fans crawling out of the woodwork following a triumphant late winner against Tunisia.

We've been here before of course but it's nice to see club tribilam can be put to one side for a few weeks.

What's the big deal? Or what's incorrect about anything I said?

Trust me, I wasn't leaping around when England scored the winner, but I make no bones about being pleased about it. I was laughing out loud when Suarez scored against England in 2014, but this is a pretty likeable set up.

It's nice to be able to enjoy a tournament, invest nothing, hope to see England do well in it and then not lose a wink of sleep when they go out. The World Cup is great - it's just a sideshow, a distraction, but it's got to be enjoyed.

Thanks Shaggy, I just watched it and I agree.

Sterling is proper wank though, I'm surprised Rashford or Vardy weren't brought on sooner.

Henderson was excellent, plenty of good forward passes to shut the boo boys up!

No big deal in an English man wanting England to do well. Even if it blinds you to the egos and absolutely cuntery of players like Sterling, Kane Alli, Lindgard, etc. Good luck.

I'm actually rather enjoying the international football as well this year.

                    Very poor form.
                    3rd place. Worst champions ever.

I'm the typical 'don't give a **** about internationals' kind of person until the tournaments start then I'm bang into them!

It's the International breaks to play friendlies that do my head in.

Haha I'm not blinded to it at all. But compared to previous teams - with Terry, Scholes, Cole, Ferdinand, Neville, Hodgson etc - this is nothing. Absolutely nothing.

That list just doesn't compare. Sterling isn't a cunt imo, in fact I'm right behind him while our racist tabloids try to destroy him. Lingard is such a **** non entity he couldn't possibly be a cunt. Alli is a cunt for Spurs but nothing compared to the others in previous years, and Kane is so beige I couldn't possibly hate him. In fact I thought he was Walsall bound for years, and I admire him for absolutely maxing out his minimal ability as a footballer. He's become an incredible goalscorer.

There's no one to truly hate in this team. Just a bunch of young lads trying their best, and I can well get on board with them in a 4 week tournament.

Jamie Vardy is a massive cunt.

Ashley Young is the only cunt IMO. I agree with Shaggy, it makes a change not to hate the team.

There is blatantly a few cunts in the England setup but I thought they played well last night young energetic side, could have won it by 3 or 4 easily. 2 stone wall penos not given aswell. Standard of officiating is quite remarkable so far even with VAR. Apart from the Portugal game and a good display by Mexico it was been pretty dreadful. In saying that, alot of the fodder are just defending for their lives which isn't really making it fun to watch.

Today's group will be interesting, fairly competitive group. We will also see will Egypt risk Salah against the Russians.
