Well I dont know much about the words you lot get offended by. I'm in Australia and we're pretty flexible with alot of words. Spastic is definately not a taboo thing here. Its just another word for idiot. Not as in someone with a mental deficiency etc. So on that I'd just like to clear that up since thats NOT what I meant. I figured since we're pretty multicultural and football is a world wide sport we'd be a little cluey on what words are actually widely insulting. I think the words cun7, ****tard, and ****** are far above it and which I was called without having said anything remotely offending.

Red_Polo, sorry mate but I didnt intend the word to be considered in any other way then 'idiot'. Its how its used here. So thats how I meant it. But I think its still very unfair and uncalled for the way you lashed at me when I didnt direct anything insulting your way. Especially not with any foul language.

You can call me a spastic as much as you like it doesn't bother me, what gets my back up is that you implied I was some poor excuse for a Liverpool fan. Anything else and I wouldn't bite. After you did that I'm not apologising for anything I said, I stand by it completely. Thats what I said. I'm guessing this is what has you riled up. As I mentioned before my words were on a WHOLE of ALOT of people, not just you and your post, but ALOT of people saying he gives the ball away all the time, is a frustrating player, etcetc. These are what they always say. I'm not pointing fingers at what YOU said, but as a whole of everyone. Example of someone on these forums would be Marky. He's totally got it in for him. Back before koptalk started to seriously die it was like every week there would be a couple threads on how he gives the ball away, how he's frustrating, etc. Most totally ignoring the good things. Even the fans at games groan and sometimes boo him. I meant on a whole the way he is treated by alot of fans, its pretty unfair on him considering everything he's done. Alot of players deserve stick, but he seriously gets it unfairly.

Again, I was NOT fully directing at you, just the comments you make that everyone else says when they describe Garcia. Hopefully you understand what I'm getting at. If you still somehow find this a personal attack and want to totally ignore my apology and explanations at TRYING to get us around what I'm honestly still surprised at as being a HUGE issue, then dont worry about it. I cant say I didnt try. My words werent clear enough and misleading by the looks of it and I got no issue with you, never did. But like I said if you want to focus on what I didnt say instead of what I meant now that I've done the extra yard, go for it. I tried.

Vlahka, I understand you weren't directing it solely at me, but you did make that post specifically in response to my comments as you admitted. You were wrongly lumping me into a group that doesn't appreciate Luis and then basically saying the group were **** fans. The whole superfan thing just makes me angry, maybe I shouldn't give a **** I don't know. Marky has some questionable opinions and starts some unusual threads but hopefully he gives Luis his full support at the match and so long as he does he's alright by me. I don't think we should drag the poor lad into it either way.

If this was all just one massive misunderstanding, if you were actually posting those comments generally and they just happened by some fluke to respond directly to the points made in my post, then you probably could've explained that rather than call me a spastic and saying you absolutely do paint me as a poor excuse for a Liverpool fan.

I appreciate your efforts in offering an apology, even if it does boil down to you saying 'sorry but I accept no blame other than in some bad wording, you are the one in the wrong here, you are the one being unreasonable'. Fair enough if that's what you think, but I don't think it's right that you should dress it up like you are apologising.

The longer this goes on the more we both look like dickheads, my anger at what you said has long since subsided to indifference in any case. We had a bit of a disagreement and we still disagree but who cares that's life. Water under the bridge, bygones etc. Live and learn. It won't prejudice the way I respond to any of your future posts, and if it's the same the other way around then all the better. Happy new year fella.

I just figured that since I hadnt quoted your post or mentioned your names then I wasnt specifically directing it to what you said, just the same quotes I hear when Garcia is usually mentioned. So yeah that was my bad and I'm not dressing up an apology. ITs a proper one for not being clear enough. So my fault.
