Reina to Valencia, wont happen
Well the only way Villa would come here is if Valencia put having a top goal keeper ahead of a top striker and goal keepers ae easier to find than top strikers these days"Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I'd be very surprised if Beckham came to LFC. I couldn't see Rafa wanting his media circus & equally I couldn't see him wanting to come to LFC. He's always said he'd only ever play for Man Utd in England, & I think he'll go to Inter.
As for Villa, who knows but the Reina to valencia link won't go away. They need a new keeper & Reina is an obvious choice. Presumably, Reina is happy at LFC but you never know, he might want to return to spain.
Would Rafa include Reina in any possible Villa deal, depends on how much he wants villa. If Rafa is desperate for him, then he may include reina but it would surprise me.
The whole Reina - villa deal seems unlikely, particularly in Jan, but the summer is a possibility but I'm not holding my breath.AKA Heighway No9

I'd be surprised if Beckham did come to us - he's always bangin on about ManUre . However, he IS the kind of player Rafa likes - he works his socks off and is suposedly a model pro [also I reckon Stevie'd love him at Anfield for 18 months. I'd take him on loan like a shot - but I just can't see past the Manc past.'Of course I didn't take my wife to see Rochdale as an anniversary present.
It was her birthday.
Would I have got married during the football season ?
Anyway, it was Rochdale reserves.'

What worries me is whether the Beckham thing is coming from Rafa or whether the would be owners see this as a good marketing ploy and aren't considering the footballing merits. The last thing I want is an owner that foists players upon the manager. If Rafa wants him then fair do's. If the wouldbe owners want him then its very worrying indeed.

On football grounds your right however on purely commercial terms the new owners might use him as a marketing tool to dramatically increase our revenues is the far east and asia"Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude.
