Bayern or Bremen. I will find out more when I meet him next time on Friday.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Cant see Bayern player leaving them to go to Liverpool. If he does leave is he any good that Bayern would leave him go??

Maybe it is like Spain where English can offer professional contracts at a younger age than the Spanish clubs - hence the poaching of Fabregas, Barragan, Pique etc.

Whist I always take things that Balague says seriously I'm not sure about the 25 goal a season striker comment. We had one of those strikers (Mr Owen) but our tactics at that time were so predictable: give the ball to Stevie G who knocked it long over the defenders for Mikey to run onto and either miss or (more often than not) score. Once the defenders played deeper to give him less room to run we struggled and we had no Plan B.

I also know from reading quotes from Rafa, including in Balague's biography, that he prefers to have many players in his team scoring rather than relying on just one player getting most of the goals. Benitez always talks proudly of winning La Liga in his last season at Valencia when they finished second top scorers in the league without any single player hitting double figures.

Don't recall Mr Owen getting 25 goals a season. Closest we've had was Fowler in his hey day.

The maths might be wrong (thankfully I'm not an accountant) but the theory remains the same...

As another example of what I mean, look at Man U this season. They lost a great goalscorer, Van Nistelrooy, but didn't replace him. The 'experts' predicted they would struggle but they're having their best season for years because they've adapted their tactics to play without a central striker and lots of their players are weighing in with goals.

I think he would look for what Jol has described Kuyt as a 20:20 player - i.e. capable of scoring 20 and assisting in 20, but with more of an emphasis on pace. The fact is that no team has won the PL without one player weighing in with a lot of goals and in the last few seasons Man United and Chelsea have raised the bar in terms of how many games need to be won. To compete I think we do need to add more potent attacking players.

Having said that I think that what we really need is more threat from our wide, attacking midfielders - other than Garcia none of the people we have played their really weigh in with any goals.

Well they let Babbel go. The Bundesliga is not very good at the moment either.

But this guy is a youth player which they probably had since he was very young and seems to be good therefore they would keep him rather then let him go and therefore have to pay alot of money(which they dont have) for a player in his position

Yes but they don't always have the choice.
I'm pretty sure if Bayern wanted to buy someone they could.

Bayern wanted to sign Aguero just as we did but sometimes another club will just make such a fantastic bid that it will rule out all other clubs. Ronaldo is another example.

If the young German player says that he will move to us then we will have every chance to get him. It can of course also be the player who looks for a better deal. It usually is.
