Good to see someone with some common sense posting in this thread

I'm one of Crouch's biggest supporters but I don't mind us selling any player as long as we bring a better player in. I hope we don't sell him, but if we have a better player lined up then so be it.

Did anyone else notice that there isn't a single quote in that article ?

He'd be a fool to move there.

Totally agreed. £12m would be tempting but we could only sell if we have someone better lined up. Obviously. It would be senseless to do otherwise.

IMO he has absolutely justified his place in the 16 every week. If he's happy to have a "squad" role as opposed to being a starter every week, then I'd be delighted to keep him. Another wonder overhead kick today. I find him immensely likeable and I struggle to understand why some fellow Reds don't feel the same.

It's ridiculous the abuse he takes. Criicism is fair, no-one is above criticism but he gets abuse. He's always expected to justify his 7 million pound fee and no matter what he does, some just won't accept that he has. I think some people are just willing him to fail so they can call themselves justified over the outcry his 7 million pound transfer caused. I wasn't happy with that fee, but he didn't demand it and I'm big enough to accept that Rafa was right to buy him.
For 7 million, he's thoroughly justified Rafa's judgement IMO.

                        All strikers miss chances.

As I said, I'd be happier if he consistently scored the percentage chances than overheads every one in 11 games. How he misses some of his headers is beyond me.

If Dyer was part of the deal I would consider it - Dyer plus 8M and I'd deal

                                Nah, Dyer is always injured.
