Considering their league position this is without doubt our best result so far this season. What a lovely way to start 2007. Very pleased for Pennant. Thought he was excellent in the 2nd half. Special mentions for everyone else.

yes I thought he played very well today and linked up well with Kuyt, Gerrard and Finnan. Linked the little balls inside, gives good variation and stretches the defence
