    Possible transfers?

Nothing really new to us, just a quick recap from sky:
Anyone think any of these could happen?.
    Liverpool
Budget - Cash will be avalaible to Rafa Benitez should he require it.
Targets - A move for long-term target Lucas Neill would seem likely while West Ham's out-of-sorts Argentine Javier Mascherano would provide some steel in central midfield with Mo Sissoko a long-term absentee. Reports in France have also linked Lille midfielder Mathieu Bodmer with a move to Anfield. In spite of problems in front of goal, it seems unlikely Benitez will shake up his forward line in mid-season.
On Way Out? - Stephen Warnock may be a makeweight in any deal involving Lucas Neill.
We are being linked with two central midfielders, could there be something in that?. Also I think Warnock could leave if Neill comes in.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

no chance momo will be off to Juve as we all know, especially not at the £5m that was quoted didnt we sign him for that much, and make him twice the player he was?.

Read somewhere that Juve had given up on Mascherano. The deal would be to complex as he`s owned by a company, not a club. If that company demands to own him even after to move to a big club it could really be a problem for him.
The bad thing is that it might make Juve step up the chase for Momo.

Apparently his contract is 100% owned by West Ham but there is a 90 odd percent sell on clause to Corinthians who are owned by the company.

His player licnese needs to be owned by club, but the company has first, and last, word if and when he`s about to be sold. So you would think the company would like as many transfers as possible, like agents.

Neill is out of contract at the end of the season. Makes no sense to give Warnock away as part of any deal for him.

That has to be the ultimate "vote of confidence" from the manager, giving you away for a player he could get for free. Why didn`t we try this with Bolo/Aurelio and Diao?

Momo will only leave us when Rafa leaves us.
Then he will join whatever Rafa's new club should be.
Don't even like to think of that scenario, tbh.

dont see why we really need mascherano (but would'nt complain if he came), and i dont rate neill that highly would rather see us strengthen other areas!

                      Is Momo galactico material?
                      Remember, not even Ronaldhino was.

Can you really see Rafa going to Madrid while there is still an emphasis on "Galacticos"? Not really his scene, is it?

I think they`ve toned down the galatico bit anyway. Can`t really see Cappello loving it either.

I wouldnt be devastated TBH, i love Momo's work rate and tackling, but thats about it. Is it too much to ask for a midfielder that can do both work rate tackliinng and play football?.
