it goes without saying we all want us to win the league but lets be honest,it won't be this year so given that,Its Chelsea every time for me.

The question should be phrased,"If we can't win it,who would you rather win it given that we hate them both".Its just a way of gauging who we have more contempt for IMO.

        Why not?

Last month I'd have said we'll never catch Chavski but things have suddenly changed.

If we aren't to win it, I'd rather see Chelsea win it rather than United.
Twin boys - now arriving late August 2008.

Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!

No but what if Scum suddenly drop some points? They've recently lost to west ham and drew with the barcodes.

Don't get me wrong,I admire your optimism and I'd love if I was wrong but they'd have to drop alot of points and I can't see it happening.ourselves, arse and the chavs can take 9 off them but even if that happened that still leaves us 5 behind plus we have to win every game here on in.At Anfield that looks a given but can't be too sure we won't lose more points away from home ourselves

Funny things happen in football and there's just under half a season to go, that's a lot of games.
Who would have thought they'd lose to West Ham, a team which went on to lose 6-0 to Reading? There are many teams capable of taking points off them especially if they lose players through injury or suspension. They took 50 points form 20 games I think, that's bloody good and pretty much unsustainable in my opinion.

Chelsea are making heavy weather of Aston Villa. 2nd is not impossible.

Their form has been excellent unfortunately. Its not impossible I know, but for them to have 5 or more slips while we simutaneously didn't have any is asking a bit much IMO. Buy you a pint if your right though

so with 16 games to go we are 8 points behind Chelsea and 14 behind Manure. It's starting to get interesting. We have made up 5 points on Chelsea in the last 7 games.

I'm goning to have a little bet on us coming 2nd.
