    fight for second.

Well it looks like the manc scum are going to waltz it in for the league

but we are now only 8pts behind the Chavs with them yet to come to Anfield...and they wont have Terry to save them this time.

can we catch them? They really look quite ordinary ATM.

If we can sign Neill (as much as you dislike him he is a quality defender) and Young (as good as Lennon IMO) i think we could mount a serious challenge for 2nd.

Don't think those 2 signings will make any difference, but they are certainly catchable now I think, we need to beat them at Anfield tho to stand any chance I think.

We can certainly catch them. The way that they're playing at the moment suggests that they're there for the takig. They have to go to Ashburton Grove, come to Anfield and play the scum at their place so it's possible. We'll have to be at our best from now until May but catching them is definitely possible.

Both Terry and Cech will probably be back sooner rather than later and that will coincide with an upturn in their form imo.

I'd happily finish 3rd if they (Chelsea) finished first.

Can't stand the scum getting closer still to our 18. They've got 15. 15 too close.

I'd be happy with 3rd as well. It would put us above Arsenal for the 2nd season running which isn't a bad position to be in.

Hopefully next year will be our year for the title.

Would that cement our status as at least the 3rd best team in England? which I think we already are btw, and have done since last season.

I think it would. For what it's worth the defeat at their place earlier on in the season was a real eye opener because we took a bit of a beating but I honestly think that we're the better team and we'll prove it between now and the end of the season. Starting this Saturday.
