    Mata to Barcelona?

Barcelona have made a shock move for exciting Real Madrid youngster Juan Mata.

The midfielder is a star with Real Madrid B and has already taken part in training with Fabio Capello's senior squad this season.

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has made enquiries about Mata's availability, while AS says the youngster's father, Juan Snr, met with Barcelona representatives last night to discuss a move to the Nou Camp.

Mata is off contract in June and is free to speak with interested clubs. Along with Barca, Valencia are also keen.

Juan Snr has a contract offer from Real, but it is for the B team and Mata is determined to play Primera Liga football this year.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Took a while to get going in mine.

But when he hits form, he's **** hot, scores and creates on a regular basis.

Worth the 5m I splashed out.
