Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

    * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Not even kurtangle would believe that lot.
I didn't say that he is a target just that I would sign him if Kewell won't be fit enough to get a new deal.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Fair enough, it's just it seems like we're running out of ideas for made up transfers so we start recycling the old ones again eg: Duff, SWP, Zidane, Van der Vaart, Lahm etc..

            Another utter gem.

God there is some rubish posited on this sight. Time for real proper info. My sister cuts Rick Parrys unruly curly hair, not very often as you can probably tell, and he told her the last time he visited Silver Scissors that Livepool are going to buy Dave Villa for twenty millions. I can also reveal the Arabs who r gonna take over will also give Benitez lots more money to spend.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

How about we keep the incoming to a minimum each transfer window from now on, as the summer influx really threw us off our ball game, I'd go for 1 top drawer signing (any decent winger for left or right, one with a bit of flair) and 1 signing that has the potential to break through to CL football quality, and keep it to one or two (1 top class - 1 potential), and only then if we need to strengthen etc.

we have to buy a top top striker villa is the name being brandished around but i dont think we'll get him! alves definitley gives options at rm and rb! i would like to see a attacking midfielder with a bit of guile and who can deliver the killer ball names like diego, van der vaart, riquelme, aimar spring to mind! also for left back mexican guy called salcido looks good for psv! though what rafa will do is a mystery!
I'm normally not a praying man, but if you're up there, please save me Superman.

Money no object = look no further than Torres.

                        I think we need:

1 striker in for the outgoing Fowler - Unfortunately it looks like Robbie's time has passed, replacing him with a Villa type player could give us one of the strongest selection of strikers in the Prem.
1 CM in for the outgoing Bolo Zenden - I think we are all agreed that Zenden isn't good enough for us, but it depends on what everyone wants from a 4th choice midfielder, but I think injuries and form have highlighted the importance of having 4 midfield players, plus we probably already have the best collection of CM's in the Prem.
1 Right Winger - Pennant may eventually be showing us what he can do, so by the end of the season this might not be so important, especially if we sign...
1 Right Back - Finnan has had some of his best games in a red shirt recently, but we need cover for him, and he's not getting any younger. Someone who can play RB and RW would be ideal.
1 Left Back - Riise's form on the other hand has been worrying and he needs some decent competition - i.e not Aurelio. Also this can pave the way for Warnocks exit.

They're my picks, what does everyone else think?
Agreed on the need for a goalscoring centre forward.

I don't believe we need a fourth central midfielder unless rafa plans to play 3 central midfielders. If 442 then Gerrard Alonso and Momo are plenty of strength in depth. I'd happily take Guthrie as our 4th central midfielder.

                        Right winger needed

                        Left winger needed

                        Cover for right back needed

                        Left back needed

Pretty much what we needed in the Summer in fact funnily enough.
