A premiership prediction

I love all these hypothetical predictions, so I've thought up one that may just come to pass. You see, I reckon that if there is a team with *more points than the other teams in the premiership after each and every team has played 19 home games and 19 away games, then they will be offered and more than likely, accept the Premiership trophy to mark their finishing first. Just my take on it like, shot in the dark and all.










*In the event of 2 or more teams being equal on points, goal difference perhaps and then goals scored possibly, might be used to rank them.
If the sides are equal on all three counts, then maybe a playoff match in a neutral venue will decide the rank.

it's not uncommon in other leagues to have a playoff for a spot, Serie A is a big example.
