In the Lower Centenary we held our own little tribute, "sit down for the 96"...
There is a light that never goes out. RIP Alan "Mally" Johnston and the 96. YNWA.

This thread is about the 6 minutes.

Have to say its crap being this far away sometimes.

Watching the Kop like that is just awe inspiring and NO OTHER CLUB
      in the world comes close.

When they are on that form I could just watch / listen for the 90 mins
with no need for a team on the pitch.

I wonder if there was any mention of the protest in the rag in question?

Perhaps a portly web-site owner could enlighten us?

I've been thinking the same thing. For the first time I actually want to know what The S*n has to say in their match report today.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

That would be interesting - presents a conundrum but
                Mental note to self:

Pity he didnt show his respect during the game. Giving the Kop the 'shhhhh' twice after the second goal was a bit of a ***** trick given what it was all about.

                    I agree.

However in his interview after the game he claimed he didn't know what it was all about.

Well, Im sure he wouldve known that a full stand holding something up saying, 'the truth' and us chanting 'Justice for the 96' for however long, had **** all to do with Arsenal, even if he didnt know what it was mainly about.

Yes he did, and that makes me wonder just what kind of bubble these players live in. I find it quite difficult to grasp.

Did any of our lot acknowledge it in any way?

He actually said he didn't know what we were chanting or what it was all about.

He also walked onto the pitch before the game with his arms spread out wide and looking to the sky as if he was saying 'what a place'.

He would have to be unbelievably thick to think it was all directed at him or Arsenal.

Wether he knew or not, he did exactly the same gesture as Jose yet Jose gets lambasted for it. Henry did it at our own ground to the Kop. Dont make excuses for him.

At the time most of the Kop was stillin shock from the ****e that leadto the second goal. Then a few got on to him and gave him stick. When he went off he was booed but that was soon drowned out by those that didnt see what he did. If it had been seen by more, I am certain he wouldve been booed off..

I'm sorry Mr Glove but I'm enititled to my own opinion.

Henry has been very complimentary towards Liverpool as a club and in particular the fans over the past year and although I can see how you might not be very happy with the finger to the mouth thing I very much doubt he did it disprecetfully.

Did he not get a good round of applause when he got subbed?
