I have a theory that Riise is struggling for form alongside Agger. They don't seem to have an understanding, coupled with the fact that the LM often gets rotated.

Riise and Hyppia at the left side of defence often seems unpenetratable (especially at home).

What about Insua? If he's at the club (?) I'd love to see him given a run out on Tuesday night. Too soon for the kid perhaps, but he can't do much worse than Riise is doing.

I reckon Aurelio will get the nod on Tuesday. Insua will feature this season though, I'm sure of it.

Riise has by and large been great for us over the last 18 months. What the **** has happened with his form I don't know. Well I do know, it's gone to ****, but I really don't know why.

As i said he's never had any real competition the likes of Cole has with Bridge and Evra has with Heinze

I think we already have solved our left back position. Insua will play there week in week out next season IMO.

I was saying that for some time. Aurelio is the better player as Riise doesn't give anything going forward as he just hoofs the ball into the box. Finnan is also guilty of that to be honest but he's much more solid defensively.

We need a top class right back (Neil isn't the solution). I would buy Alves to play there. As for Riise, he should be decent back up.

Riise is the better defensive option. He's lost form though and I'm sure Aurelio will be given a Run now untill Neill joins us.

Sadly, I have learnt to become wary of these kind of comments and not to get too excited by a player until I've actually seen him play a few games myself. But I really hope you're right.
