    You'll Never Walk Alone

Ive read some, not all of the post on here. Im ****in disgusted. Ok we weren't ****in great and we didnt ****in win. But did you not here us sing You'll Never Walk Alone at the end ? As loud as we would have sang if we won. We didnt get beat like we did at the Emirates or Old Toilet we had a ****in go and at the end of the day they were better / more clinical than us. The fact is the fans in the ground were behind the team till the end.

Thank god most of you lot werent in the ****in ground.

Ive seen plenty worst performance from the Reds than that and i aint in the ****en red glasses brigade who cant see fault, we were beat by a team who finished there chances, ****en get over it and get behind the team.

I know its little, but thats David Banner. Just wait untill you see the Incredible Hulk

I got chills hearing that in the end. You guys made me proud to be a red and this kind of reaction from the fans is a big part of why I love this club.

Mate, I don't know if your post is directed at anyone or anything in particular, but in general I think it's a bit unfair when people assume that those venting their frustrations and voicing their opinions on here would not sing their hearts out and support the team 100% when at the match.

Even after the '6' minutes, the fans got right behind the team as you say. We've just got to look to Tuesday now.

First of all, I'd just like to say that supporting your team through thick and thin is what every Liverpool supporter does. If not, none of us would be here right now.

And as for singing YNWA at the end... It wasn't sung as if we were winning, hell no! It was sung as if someone died. You could hear the depression in singing.

However, this could only happen at LFC. LFC supporters are just the best in the world, by far!

I thoroughly agree, but even being at the game, a large section of our fans abuse our own players and do not "support the shirt" anymore. The reactions on this and any LFC forum are typical of all footy fanbases these days, we are lucky to have a large section of fans who genuinely support through thick and thin but i sit next to people every week who know **** all about LFC or football in general but blurt out bull**** about individual players constantly. Garcia, Pennant and Crouch are the current whipping boys, despite the fact that all 3 give 100% every game.

the team was very poor yesterday, and they let them selfsdown, but they also let down thousands or even 100's of thousands supporters, although i am a proud liverpool supporter and would have sung out my lungs after the game, that doesn't mean that i'll simply roll over and not criticize their performance, some have gone over the line, and some responsives have been disrespectfull, but this is what you can expect in the heat of the moment cause the expectations are so great...

the team deserves some bashing for that performance surely they do, we can't all be like jesus and simply offer the other cheek. i posted a response witch was pretty harsh and i know that, i also stated in that thread that i may have gone overboard, that it was simply the passion that got to me...

internet fourums are very special, on all occations not only football, it gives you an oportunity to hide behind a computer and voice out your opinion whatever it is, and on most forums there are subjects or situations that goes out of controlle, it is also a place for people to steam of...

imo players walked on that pitch with out their pants on and got stuffed, and i feel that some players contribution to the team last night may be questioned as does the entire team effort, every thing that surrounds it, but that does not mean that i do not have hope in my heart and that i believe that we can do better and i believe that we will win on tuesday...

                      Jeez - it's just venting!

Ever have a row with a loved one, looked at all their faults?
Still love them afterwards though, don't you?

And at the game, it's heat of the moment, emotions running high and TBH, i'd be surprised if people's frustrations DIDNT come out. It's not the right way to vent, but it's genuine. I'm not saying it's right, but it's human nature to do that and i do understand it.

How many of us DONT think "Oh FFS, you muppet" when a player misplaces a simple ball or something?

Even a thread today slagging off Stevie G - though it was from Marky. I was dismayed reading the match thread yesterday. By half time every single Liverpool player had been slagged off with the exception of Carra. I can understand people are disappointed at the events of a game which we had built up, but there are ways of expressing that disappointment - when it descends into vitriol against current Liverpool players or staff then a line has been crossed in my opinion.
This is not something new, though. I remember in the late '80s hearing constant moaning on the Kop against Whelan and Houghton - both fine players, Whelan indeed a legend. Then I thought the Kop had got spoiled by near constant success. Now I think many are frustrated that we are still short of being the best. The analogy to an argument with a loved one was made in this thread. Fair enough - but lets watch what we say/type in the heat of the moment. Its best to let a new day cast its light before we make idots of ourselves.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.
