Its true, I can vouch for the fact that when AA predicts a loss we win, and now the other way round too. Its all his fault
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?
I said before the game that I'll be happy if we beat them in the league and lose the two cup games. They can't beat us 4 times in a row isn't it ?
I too will happily accept this.
I had a bad feeling about this game from a while back, and was expecting us to get beat. I said so in the predictions thread. Which is weird because all week at work I was giving it all this about how we were going to avenge our defeat at the Emirates.
Yesterday was what it was - it made me sick watching those Arsenal fans bouncing up and down, and signing about winning the league on Merseyside.
But as holders there's no way we were going to win the Cup twice in a row and so it is better to fall at the first hurdle rather than get knocked out in the latter stages.
Still not going to make going into work any easier tomorrow though.

I said the same thing afterwards. Normally after defeats to one of the other "big four" I'm intensely depressed. I would've been last night had it been a league game, but you can't win the FA Cup every season so we move on. I'd rather beat them in the League Cup (closer to the final) and in the league.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
