Would you give Craig Lindfield a go

between the Barca result and the end of the season...assuming we went out in the CL? Given we're all talking about strikers and whether buying 1 or 2 in is necessary.

Only the coaches know if he's ready for the step up, same with Anderson as the winger, so - if they are ready, then the answer is yes.

We should have played them yesterday seeing as we threw the game away by playing Dudek.

If it looks like we're safe for the top 4, and Pennant doesn't improve in the next dozen games, I'd be tempted to give Anderon a run.

No, I wouldn't. He should first score regulary in the reserves. So far only three goals this season.

He did come on in the Pompey game but looked like he needs to bulk up a little, too young and lightweight as yet. Danny Guthrie looks ready but Flair player he aint.

only once when he came on in the cup recently. he looked out of sorts but not fair to judge him on about 20 mins football. he didn't quite look ready for it yet but thats the only time i've seen him.

No one KNOWS if they're ready, it's a judgement call isnt it?

I'd paly them both in the league cup against Arsenal with the addition of Paletta, the rest would be experienced first team players.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                            * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

I'd give him a go. Sometimes you've gotta sink or swim.
