I bet the team will be:

    Dudek, Finnan, Hyypia, Carra, Aurelio

    Garcia, Alonso, Gerrard, Gonzalez,

    Crouch and Bellamy

I don't think Crouch is up to it I would prefer Kuyt leading the line with Bellamy behind him. Kuyt uses the ball far better than Crouch.

Tuesday will be a different game. Maybe I will make a few changes to the team I originally had in my head for the match," said Benitez.

"We will have to see how the players are before picking the team, but it is more important to stay in the Carling Cup now."

        my team

        dudek
        peltier carra agger aurelio
        garcia gerrard guthrie gonzales
        bellamy crouch
Parry is a clown. En Rafa que confiamos

This is a massive game from a moral point of view. The lads need to prove to themselves that they can win against the top domestic teams (something we haven't done this season)

Also a trophy is a trophy is a trophy and we should be really going for this. I would hate to end the season trophyless and that is a very real possibility if we don't win this one.

"In my first season here we had a problem with Jerzy Dudek but we gave him ten games. Afterwards we had a problem with Chris Kirkland but we gave him ten games. Sometimes, espeically the goalkeepers, they need confidence."

            - RB

I feel for dudek... I really do. He's barely had a sniff and now this.

It annoys me a little that Benitez can sometimes be quite hypocritical in his support for certain players and his knocking of others... no need to bring up his 'promise' - it just makes Jerzy look like a silly fool... which he's not.

It's the same with Robbie.. none of it makes any sense to me.. but Rafa really does seem to know what he's doing so I guess it's a case of trust him and see what happens.

If you consider the Carling Cup worth it, then We've already won the Charity Shield

true its not th emost important trophy , but the plus point is we`ll probably be playing chavski in a cup final ,if we can beat spurs - and for 90 minutes or so most of us will be willing the lads on like loonies and not thinking about the value of the competition. arsenal is a must win for me.
