Walter Smitty found out the SFA could be quite stubborn today! A certain Realm of the Knight is going to have dig very deep to have his way, we can only hope the scum go the same way soon when their long standing manager goes.

They had no choice - it was an obvious decision. But the SFA are only topped by the EFA for incompetency, the contract Wattie has will mean he'll can still be bought out. Coisty will walk as he actually doesn't have a contract, though his credentials, if ITV are to go by, are not worth a piece of paper.

I actually believe Souness was the best thing to happen to Rangers in their bid for no. 9... bear with me here... he built an indestructible team that destroyed Celtic... Walter just had to keep them ticking over (Paisleyesque) and even when handed a luxurious t/fer fund for no.10 (14m - comfortable by today's standards) he managed to screw it - though the pressure on the players was a factor that can't be ignored.

While looking for that info, I found a picture of Dariusz Dudek, the Dude's brother! He's a striker for Odra Wodzislaw.They don't look very alike, do they?

It seems strange tha after all the speculation surrounding Lucas Neill we haven't mad an offer yet at this point Mascherano seems the most likely arrival, if Fifa can be talked round to letting the deal happen.

As for players leaving...Apart from maybe a couple of young lads on loan and possibly Warnock I can't see anything happening.

It's possible but I'd have thought that even if the takeover went through in time Rafa would have already identified his main targets and would stick with them.

I know what your saying but his targets at the moment are surely limited with his small budget. With DIC funds his targets would change....wouldn't they?

Neill can be used as cover for any position in the back line and is decent with it, he'd be an assest to any squad. As for the chap from West Ham, well he is meant to be around 16mil if we decide to buy, thats a **** load for us, with or without investment.

We're taking him on loan, and i thought it was a deal to buy for 6m?
