On the contrary, i'm glad Rafa said what he did prior to the Bolton game. It put the referee in the spotlight and IMO it curbed their thuggish play.Originally posted by anfieldanfield View PostRafa shouldn't have said what he said. It didn't help anyone.
But Gartside isn't exactly in a position to judge what with all the 'bung stuff' going one.
It threw them off course and helped do the job. About time Rafa stopped playing mister nice guy and did what virtually every other manager does.

That's spot on, what did Rafa say? All it was, was that they play long ball game and are physical.Originally posted by kopdan View Postits all about ...well gay isnt it. Rafa's comments were hardly worthy of an FA investigation.
Christ, i expect Gartside to want to investigate the next commentator that says "Bolton are in the white shirts"...

"For those watching in black and white, Liverpool are the team with the ball."
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Sammy Lee tows the party line here, but still, I got a lot of time for him.
Do you remember how he greeted Rafa and showed him about, even though he knew he was being outed? It's in Bellague's book. I found that very respectful and gracious by Sammy.
Ouch, this was meant to be a comment to Sammy talking about this issue, which he did relating to our match against fat Sam's thugs.--== Because the gang and the government is no different ==--

He's good in Scritti Politti though.Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostGartside is a square-headed little cnut..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.
