    Here's one for ya...

If Chelsea decided to offload Shevchenko, would you want him at Liverpool?

Before this season started I'd have bitten your hand off. Now he looks a sad shadow of his former self. Can't seem to adjust to the pace of the Prem. Chuck in his huge wages and I think we'd be better going for somebody younger.

depends, what sort of fee would they want (he's 30 now) and how much a week he'd want. He is a quality player who is badly out of sorts, but with the right team around him he'd bang in the goals,

only for the anagram potential or the delights of a dylexic shirt name maker. Serioulsy, though, he's worth a punt

He wouldn't perform for us, we need either target men or speed merchants, we've already seen with Morientes that those type of strikers don't perform for us.

..and let's not forget the £100k+ a week wages!

Not so much giving the money aspect much thought, just trying to gauge whether people still think he's class or not.

But for argument's sake, let's say they let him go for £9m and he'll take £50k p/w.

Don't think he's the kind of player we're after....although one of our potential summer signings would be delighted....

I think in the right set up(for him) he'd still be scoring, however he wouldn't suit us at the moment, and obviously he isn't suited to Jose's way of playing either.

Well form is temporary, class is permanent and all that. But at this moment in time he looks a gamble - he seems shot to bits.

If they're not good enough for the chavs, then they certainly should not be considered as good enough for us.

If players are unable to turn it on whilst in London on massive wages, what possible chance they will do it again anywhere after that, phuck 'em, let 'em rot.

I agree - Shevchenko has made his decision and unless there is a change of manager at Chelsea () then I can't see him suddenly banging them in.

However, it's not as if he hasn't won virtually every honour possible in the game, and is getting truly huge wages - he's probably not really bothered.

What was the length of his contract? 4 years?
