What was the length of his contract? 4 years?
Well that had to pay OTT wages for a long length of time, with a huge fat signing on fee and pay off loyalty bonus just so that Roman's & Shevvers WAGs could continue to shop in style together!

At 9mil I'd take him - it takes a lot of foreign players a season to settle and the chavs don't play to his strengths. Sheva is a class act that will bounce back, but they are not the reasons I'd take him - I'd take him just to see Chelsea lose 21mil on the deal.

He would never come to us after the CL final. He is still in shock and never has he played the same since.

          **** YES.

He supports LFC too so he's feel more at home.

I like the Morientes comparison. He does seem to be totally lost just like our Fernando was. I don't think that the fee and wages he'd command would be worth it tbh. Although as Snigger said, I'd love to see the Chavs faces on seeing how much they'd lose on his transfer fee

                  No.

                  To old and injury prone.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

He is too old. Five years ago, yes. Now, only if he paid us to have him in our squad.

It would depend on the transfer fee and the overall cost of his wages.

He is still a hugely talented footballer despite what has happened this season at Chelsea. Perhaps he is adjusting to the language, lifestyle and the systems that Chelsea use.

He is too good a footballer to become useless overnight, he will come good at one point. Having said that though, it would still come down to cost to me though.
