On the offal it says Luis is having a scan on his knee tomorrow. Others have mentioned ligament damage. But Rafa has been quoted as saying that we could be without him for "a long time". Worrying really.

On the plus side, Warnock's been given the all clear

the way he's been playing i'm not sure we'll miss him, but both Garcia and Gonzo out does leave us light on the left, oh well at least Zendens back soon

This could mean that Luis have played his last game for us. He will only have two years left on his contract next summer.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

he always says that though, sometimes injuries look bad when they happen, but the actual damage isnt severe. Like Riise's ankle injury earlier this season, that looked like he had broken his ankle tyhe way he was rolling around everywhere...but he was back in a week. Saying that though, knee injuries are almost always bad.

what did Gonzalez injure, is it his hammy again?

Gonzalez - 6 inch gash in his shin and severely bruised tibia. Thankfully not bust.

If Luis' injury is a bad one, he will be sorely missed, particularly in Europe. Against Barca, he would be a key weopon for us and will be a big loss if unfit.

Lets hope its not as bad as it looked.

We need him against Barcelona, I hope it's not as BAD as it looked. He's the one proven player in Europe

Just read that he'll be out until the Champs league final, when he will come on 30 mins before the end to waste 90% of his passes before he gets us the winner with a dubious 'was over the line or not' shot against the Chavs.
