It was a disgrace.The worst result in my 25 odd years as a supporter.I'm still shell shocked.

What? It was bad but was it really worse than the 4-4 versus Chesterfield under Souness in the same competition.

We cheered like we'd won the cup when we equalised that night. In fact scratch that, it was a good result under Souness!

AK on Century was shocked and dissapointed by the team when he 1st read it out and he never say's anything bad.

everyone walking to the ground was well pee'd off with the lineup.

This is close to a subject that I have oft' considered. The Pundits of this world are currently split into two distinct groups.

1/ The ex Liverpool players. Redknapp, Thompson, Hansen, Lawro and AK. These men are aware of their history and their place in it. As such they are concerned about how thay are percieved. They believe that their possition requires them to be fair and unbiased. Unfortunately because of the passion for their former club they have a tendancy to over compensate. The perfect example of this is Lawro, who has historicaly annoyed me with his apparent Manc loving comments.

2/ The ex players of the second rate Arsenals, Forrests and Blue****es of this world. Those such as Alan 'Arsehole' Smith, Trevor 'The Tosser' Francis and Andy 'Gob****e - Blue****e' Gray. Who because of being consistantly and utterly beaten by Liverpoolare biased beyond belief and don't have the inteligence or whit to compensate for this twisted deformity. This renders the aflicted with an inabilty to praise Liverpool in any way, shape or form. I still to this day believe the 'YOU BEAUTY' comment was shouted because 'Gob****e' Gray thought the ball was going wide.

This means all our team get is criticism. Liverpool always have to disproove the comments by pundits, or if we win it is dispite the tactics, performance, lack of quality, rather than because of it.

Lets just accept it the media is strongly biased against us. Moanalotinho doesn't know he's born if he thinks the media are against him. They're so far up his, Fergies and Wingers(not mispelt) backsides I'm suprised theres enough light to write anything

fooking hell, this thread is painfull.

i'd much rather here an ex player who still supports the club say we were ****e, than some other cnut who is laughing deep down at the result because he is a manc/chelsea/blue etc etc.

liverpool were ****e against arsenal midweek, if hansen had been the pundit, he would have said as much, and i doubt anyone would have said a word against him
