Er, ex-LFC player...?Originally posted by MrMichael View PostNope, we blatantly can't agree, it's Andy Gray for me

Didn't you also misunderstand pubs' camouflage thread as well?

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

One Thing I think that we can all agree on is that. Given the choice members on every forum will never agree to the right team selection or formation for Liverpool FC. Given a fully fit team.Originally posted by FatTony View PostLast night was a tough game, we all took it up the proverbial wrong un. Last night and even now, we're at odds with each other, who's to blame, who's not up to scratch, is the club moving forward, is Rafa the man, is Dudek the mystery punter who put £25k on a 6-3 win at Coral and finally, some people are even having a pop at Redknapp.
Well, in an attempt at regaining togetherness, and as mentioned in the Redknapp thread, can we all agree that as an ex LFC player, Mark Lawrenson is the pundit we'd all most like to throw tomatoes at?
All in favour say I.

No not really, thought I'd add it as a conversation point.Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostDid that really happen?
Redknapp I can no longer stand, Spackman is diabolical but I loathe Ray Houghton.

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

Now I thought the same thing initially, but after a re-read, realised that the wording only says pundit, the 'ex-lfc player' was merely further qualification for hating Lawro...Originally posted by Neil Young View PostEr, ex-LFC player...?

Oh yeah, you can read it that way. Oops. No, he said "as an ex lfc player, Mark Lawrenson is the pundit we'd all most like to throw tomatoes at?". Now for me, as an ex LFC player, I have a slight bit of respect for Lawrenson even under extreme provocation, and as the focus of that question apears to me to be on "pundit", my response was entirely appropriate. Andy Gray annoys me five times more than any other pundit, especially any ex-lfc player. So thereOriginally posted by Neil Young View PostEr, ex-LFC player...?

edit - ok, cool,
I wish I could defend the "camouflage" blooper as confidently
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

Actually, Andy Gray annoyed me so much last night I switched off the sound for about five minutes and that was during the first half!
I wish they'd make "Match Sound" available on interactive like the BBC did during the World Cup..

I have only one way of dealing with it when he's on screen,
- Turn off sound. Close eyes.
- Repeat 5 times - "Game well and truly over... and I hate saying that".
- Open eyes. Point and Laugh.
Even then..... oh but I just hate him so much

sorry for the confusion, but to qualify, the pundit does indeed need to be an ex lfc player.
