He's finished at the top level now, the injuries have totally ****ed him up and as a result he's lost one of his best assests - pace. Was looking on a few arsenal sites the other day and they cant wait for him to go as they think Walcott will develop better with him out the way.

Well, apparently the reason Ljungberg is for sale is to part fund a move for Ribery. Now HE, would be the signing for me. However we don't have the £15mil or so needed to pay for himI saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

Ribery is fantastic. Wenger always goes for players of exceptional technical ability. I wish we did..

I disagree.Originally posted by fredo View PostArsenal don't need Ribery if they have Walcott.
Walcott will eventually be moved up front as a striker and at the moment isn't ready for regular premiership and CL games. He was relatively ineffective last night and was outshone by other Arsenal youngsters.
Ribery would take the premiership by storm.

But what about Freddie Ljungberg?? He's most definitely available by all accounts, and whilst we haven't seen that much of him recently he's always been a good right winger for me.
Pops up with the odd goal, can take a player on, decent pace and knows how to whip a ball in.
I'm surprised given how unhappy most on here are regarding Pennant, that Ljungberg hasn't been mentioned
Thoughts??
I'd have him!
In the squad I mean.
RAFA! RAFAEL! RAFA! RAFAEL! RAFA! RAFAEL! RAFAEL BENITEZ!

Freddie Ljungberg is reportedly demanding a £4.5m play-off if Arsenal sell him this month.
The Swedish winger is said by the Daily Mirror to be 'disgusted' at the 'callous' way he was told he was surplus to requirements at the Gunners.
He will apparently demand that Arsenal pay off the remaining 18 months of his £65,000-a-week contract if he is forced out of the door to West Ham or Tottenham.
"He was told in no uncertain terms he should take any offer that is on the table, otherwise he will not play again," said a 'close friend' in the newspaper.
Ljungberg is thought to favour a move to Spurs, if they will meet his wage demands.
Arsenal are said to be making room for Franck Ribery, despite Arsene Wenger insisting that he is not interested in making signings during January. The future you have, tomorrow, won't be the same future you had, yesterday.
