No idea, a lot of people have an odd bias against Bent. Not sure where it comes from. I think both have looked good players in otherwise poor teams, but Bent has added goals to good play.

Aye I don't think he's a realistic option/target AT ALL at the prices being touted. At £4m we may have been in there, but we can forget it at £8m and above.

Didn't look up to much today but it'd be cruel to evaluate him based on today's one-sided affair.

£8M on the table as at today, confirmed by Boothroyd, might be his head has "been turned" by all the speculation and now needs to move on to settle down, work hard and get back to being what he can be.
