According to his book (christmas pressie) he was always a red.Originally posted by Speedy View PostGerrard's the question mark. I really hope he was a red. But there is always that doubt.
Before people get upset by the number of ex-blues playing in red don't forget that tere are plenty of reds fans playing in colours other than red. Even Bolton's captain was in our crowd at Istanbul...

A Scouser writes: If we're listing Scousers I'm afraid that we have to exclude Ormskirk lad Warnock. Anyone from Merseyside will tell you that Ormskirk, although only a matter of miles from the city, is not a scouse town, the locals being unfortunate enough to speak with a Lancashire, rather than scouse, accent. Cultural matters like this define scousersOriginally posted by Red_Al_77 View PostFowler, Carra, Wright, Thompson, Warnock, Gerrard, Aldridge, McMahon, Ablett, Marsh, McMananananananaaaan

It might fool someone from Borehamwood or suchlike but it certainly sounds not remotely scouse to meOriginally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostThis is of course true, but Warnock doesn’t speak with a typically Lancastrian/Ormskirk accent – there’s a tinge of Scouse in there, which is enough to fool a few people, I reckon.
