Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has revealed Petr Cech could make his return to action against Liverpool next weekend.

Mourinho claims Cech is fit to return to the team after four months out of action with a fractured skull.

The Czech Republic international is back on training and Mourinho admits he must make the decision whether or not to throw Cech back into action next weekend at Anfield.

Mourinho believes having Cech back is like having 'a £50 million player' back.

"I can tell you as a joke I have a £50 million player on Monday," said Mourinho. "The player is the best goalkeeper in world

"He is back, he is ready to play and he can play the next game.

"For us that is magnificent even though I think Hilario is playing very, very well and has done very well for us.

Cech's had zero match practice for months. I'd be delighted if he played next week. To be honest it's a win win situation for us, either a rusty Cech plays or hilarious plays.

cech was doing some training on thepitch for 20 mins today before their ko
agree about finnan today but he has been in fantastic form for last few months.hes just finally getting some recognition

I'd like to us play this formation a bit more often as it suits the players we've got, particularly when Momo is fit. we can play all our 3 central midfielders in positions they are comfortable with. Same applies to Aurelio & JAR. Both are basically wing backs. Thats why aurelio's signing puzzled me, even though he was on a free. He's a wing back but we don't play a system with wing backs in it.

We played the same formation last season away to Newcastle and we looked superb i thought.

With the players we have, i think its our best formation.
There is a question mark as to whether it would work against the top sides e.g Chelsea next week, but lets face it, 4-4-2 doesnt work that ****ing well against them does it, we've been well beaten by the top sides this season so i dont see the harm in trying something different against them and seeing if it works though.

That said, dont expect Rafa to continue with it for next week.
