Thoughts on it lads/ladies?
I thought it worked very well, it was only Watford i know but still the signs were encouraging.
As Rafa said after the game, all 3 offer something differnet, Crouch offers the obvious aerial presence, plus the ability of holding the ball up n letting our attackers join in the play.
Bellamy offers the pace and ability to draw defenders into the channels and finally Kuyt plays well between the lines, linking the play and creating as well as the ability to score himself.
I see no reason why this formation cannot be used against Chelsea next saturday, all 3 looked comfortable with the formation and when you take into consideration we're missing some of our attack minded players like Kewell, Garcia and Gonzalez there's all the more reason to try it.
It also allows Gerrard to stay central and Xabi to get on the ball, would suit big Momo down to the ground when he returns as well.
