    Petr Cech

Just our luck that Petr Cech is gonna make his comeback against us next week eh? Well then, after the good publicity our fans got for the Justice demonstration against Arsenal, let's show everybody just how good we really are and give Petr Cech a real ovation when he runs down to the Kop.

We all hate the Chavs and everything, but the bloke could have lost his life and has made a full and speedy recovery. Somethings are more important than football.

I for one will be giving him a clap when he runs towards the Kop.

Once the game starts however - its no holds barred. He gets barracked with the rest of them.
    Liverpool born and bred.

Sure, but he should be clattered by Sami and the others when he comes out to catch crosses and corners.

Agreed. This sort of thing has always been the Liverpool Way anyway.

Cech's problems have been more 'life & death' than football.

Play Crouch, get some balls knocked in to him, put Cech under pressure. He hopefully wont have Terry to help out.

and if in doubt, get someone to throw pies at him.

Absolutely. We should be as physical as possible within the constraints of the rules.

I agree with Howard though, he should be and will be given a great ovation. However, I very much doubt he'll be given the nod ahead of hilarious. He's had f*ck all match practice, no way will he be thrown in at Anfield.

In many ways I hope Cech does play. Psychologically he may be a bit of a mess - indecisive, unsure of himself with high or 50/50 balls. It'd be a huge risk to chuck him straight in there. I wish him all the best in his recovery but I hope, if he does play, he has a ****ing nightmare!

                    Agreed Shaggy.

I mentioned in an earlier thread that we're in a win win situation next weekend, either a rusty Cech plays or hilarious (who's turd) does.

I dont think they will play him.
It just sounds like Maureen trying to put us off.

No, but they do have one on Tuesday 23 Jan against Wycombe in Second Leg Carling Cup SF
