Luis has had a successful knee op, so...

...why no acknowledgement at all on the offal? It was 24 hours ago that he had the surgery, and still nothing said.

The surgeon said that the operation went well, that he was animated, talking, joking throughout the whole hour long surgery and that he's very spirited, a very brave and thoughtful man.

He said that Luis will be kept in hospital for four days to control the post-op interventions, intravenous medications, to maintain that there is no risk for infection and to allow him to rest a little.

The initial observation of six months out still stands.

i suppose my question is - there has been NO mention of it at all. That whole game yesterday his name was not even mentioned. There is nothing on the official site, yet any time anybody else has an operation it's reported. Documented.

    Why nothing for Garcia?

Maybe marky18 is in charge of the offal these days?

But I hear where you're coming from, and it might have something to do with offical paperwork rather than quotes, dunno - just making excuses.

Just a general acknowledgement that he's had a successful surgery would suffice, I think. There's been that acknowledgement and information for everybody else that's undergone surgery.

I don't know. The poor bloke just lost his whole season. For the club to actually appear to care might, just, be a bonus. When a player from another team is injured, the team make comments, say things, send out encouragement.

Not one of our team has done that for Garcia.

        Seems harsh to me.

Was on spanish news website. It's also on Eurosport. The surgeon has already spoken about it.

This sort of news will only appear on weekdays - there wont be many people working on the website on weekends and more often than not, only match related reports and interviews appear on the weekend.

The official website is dead slow with news.
