    To the idiot who said David Villa will goto Real Madrid and not Liverpool because they are Trophieless! Do you even follow football? Real Madrid havent won a trophy for nearly 4 seasons, yet Liverpool have won the Champions League, Super Cup and the FA Cup, and that's in 2 seasons. So who is the mediocre team my friend? I can confirm David Villa will sign for Liverpool, in the summer.

      I'm sure with our new ex-Southampton Youth Coach now within our set-up that we would be in a better position to know if Gareth Bale is worth whatever it takes.

      I hope we don't end up doing an Arsenal though, and only buying/bringing in foreign imports all the time cos they are cheaper, even they forked out a huge wad on young Theo, sometimes you just have to bite the bullet & pay the going rate for Brit/Irish talent.

        Excellent, the return of the van der Vaart rumours. He has looked good the few times I have seen him in the highlights from Bundesliga games, so I wouldn't object if it happened. Not really the wide player we need but he is at least creative.

          If Alves was available for $12m then he would already be playing for us
          Just believe and you never know what will happen.

          According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

                Just watching the Real Madrid game and they are saying the Spanish press have linked us to Michel Selgardo and Raul. I wouln't take Raul, because I think he's past his best and his wages would be huge but Selgardo would be good competition to Finnan.

                    What a wish list and if thats the money he is going to get then i would be very happy. I'd add KAKA in there as well
