Maestro said the clue is in his sig. The only thing worthwhile in his sig is the Crow. Maestro mentioned the Bundersliga. Andriy Voronin's nickname is the Crow. He is a forward of some standing whose contract is about to expire.

Never heard of him. Any good?

What type of player is he?

As I said he is a forward, but he also can play on the left wing. Supoose to lead the line with Seva for Ukraine.

considering their position in the league I seriously doubt we could get him, even if we had the money

Nah Alves wont move in January. Sevilla can ask any price for him as there high in the league and dont have to sell him.Why would he leave them in their current position anyways

I only said that he would be my choice.

Rafa will probably go for him in the summer when Sevilla have missed out on the CL again. They don't have a big enough squad to win the league and they will also get it very difficult to get a top four place IMO.

They have used very few players in the league and the Cups and it's starting to show now.

Riquelme is available for £6.5m and he isn't cup-tied.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Do you think Rafa will go for a high profil player in this window and the other question is could he get one?

What i can see is that Neill and J.Mas are the only ones been sounded out to come to us.

Them two would be high profile enough, we need to settle down, decide what is what, we already are trying to gel the current team together - and that is taking time, and now possibly another 2 additions to the first team.

We also don't really know if there is money for transfers, and how much, and if there is a promise for future funding, which will mean a lot of work sounding out players availability etc over the coming months.

We need to consolidate, and to assess the current options (Fowler, Hyypia (the older players etc) can they take us to the next level of being PL Champions?)

The original question was simple and my answer stands.

I hope we get the money that will allow Rafa to pick his first choices.

Fowler im sure is gone, Sami i would give one more year as i think he can still do a job for us, next year i think if Rafa doesnt sign a first rate Defender Agger will be first choice beside Carra but i can see him signing a high profile player.

I go into the summer very excited as i hope will have alot of money and a few World Class players added to the squad

IMHO we need in this order over the next two seasons:

                            J. Mascherano
                            SWP
                            Top class left back
                            Top class right back
                            Luisao
                            Good defensive cover ( L. Neill )
                            Kaka
                            Villa
                            Simao
                            Klose

And in two to three seasons number 19 should be ours.

Now I know you are gonna say this is unrealistic but if Rafa is given the money to get his first choice most of the time this is the kind of quality I expect to see at Liverpool in this time.

All this Klose talk today are we really in for him?

Is its a possibility that Rafa is looking at?
