Oh, didn't realise it was directed at me.

The answer is, I don't know. I haven't seen much of them playing to be honest, but I reckon Heinze is probably the most likely.

It´s not like he´s 35, class permanent and all that.

just check out youtube, some are very recent. He is playing and scoring for Barca now.

Plus he´s a "right place at the right time" sort of player also.

Yeah, and if you can defend in Italy, you can defend in the Premiership.

Cambiasso and Mascherano are practically the same type of player. Mascherano is a better passer though.

I was actually at the game and apart from the goals he did not do a hell of a lot else (ok it was a big part nevertheless!!).The first goal he knew very little about it came off the keeper and rebounded in, the second was a good (unchallenged header), and the third was a top quality goal made from a fabulous ball from Xavi.

It was a strange game, but we need to be wary of Edmilson I think when we play them. He came on as sub and looked absolute class. Didi with a greater passing range. Anyway we can beat them. Two things that we need to 1) get Bellamy on Marques heels all the time. He is fine with time on the ball but crap under pressure. Alaves should have had three goals from his mistakes 2)get Gerrard playing on the right, tight on Ronaldihno when they have got the ball, aand let Barca worry about him when we have it. One further thing is that Marques and Puyol have big gaps between them. We need pace to exploit it. Bellamy is about to be corwned king of the Nou Camp I think!! Believe for we can do it

Good scout report! I honestly think we can beat them, I used to think Puyol was a great defender but the games I've watched him in this year he's look very average and lacks pace. As long as we defend well and don't concede early I think we have a really good chance.

The finish for the 3rd goal last night was class and a super ball from Xavi. That's the kind of play we will really have to be wary off. With players like Xavi, Ronadinho, Eto and Messi they are very capable of producing the unexpected.

I like Saviola He is a class player but as people have said I'm not sure he is suited to the English game. I think one of the reasons he didn't get much of a chance at Barca is because they thought he was rather lightweight. I think he bulked up a little in his first couple of years to compensate but didn't really fit into Rijkaard's style of play once he arrived.

Puyol is overrated by TV armchair footballers.
                                He is nowt special.
