Summer time and the living is easy.........

.........well not for Liverpool i hope. I hope they will be hard at work

What would you like to see happen come the end of the summer and where you'd like liverpool to be at in terms of out prep for the new season?

What players would you like/think will come realistically?

Will Rafa have real big money to shake the Prem up next year?

    What players will leave?

Will there be new members on our coaching staff?

Will youth players bought last year and this year make the step up to 1st team level

and i personally would like to know how much will get for Cisse

Since these sites on the Internet have been up & running since say the mid 90s .. this same point has been coming up again & again .. and been done to death I think, different player names, targets etc but the argument is still the same basic one. In the 10yrs we've seen a few false dawns & some great successes but no real sustained challenge for the one we want - the PL win! I dont really care who comes and goes any more ... doesnt seem to make any difference .... as long as we can get the most out of the players we do have ... and step up a gear to go for the league ... thats all!

On the assumption the DIC buy us and make funds available then we will have a lot of scope to move. I wouldnt want Rafa to do a Chelski and splurge £100mill every summer and then when said bunch of players dont work expect DIC to give him another £100mill to buy more in.
I think (and hope) that DIC will give Rafa money, but if there is a player he needs then money wont be a problem (look at the problem with Alves if we had a few mill more then he would have been ours)

I'd like Rafa to bring in a LB, cover for Finnan (Peltier looks promising but is rough-Lauren would be a good option), extra cover at CB and maybe another striker. Not sure about RW as if momo and xabi are fit then rafa will look play SG on the right. But a quality rw will not hinder us if one was bought! Ideally Rafa would like Alves. I'm not sure about him as I have not seen too much of him. I would like us to go for Lennon but Spurs wont let him go without a fight or cheaply. Upfront I dont think Villa would be the right choice, maybe Klose or Podolski would be better and I think would fit in better than Villa.

I'd like to see a few more of the kids given a go, ones like Hobbs, Peltier, Guthrie, Anderson, Antwi and Carson.

As for Players out, I think JAR, Dudek, Diao, Zenden (I hope) Sami (hope not but age is catching up) and Crouch will go. Be interesting to see if Kewell and Pennant stay.

As for coaching staff..blimey mate dunno, maybe get Rushie in again as a striking coach, Barnesy to teach the wingers what to do?

Ashley cole isnt the best left back in world but he's up there, plus there arnt many LB that would be classed as world class players, which he is.

no sorry I dont agree. Whilst he is a good player, I dont think he is the best. of course it is subjective and everyone will have their opinions (I think Zambrotta and Lahm are much better)

Riise has been one of our weak links this season. So far, I'm not sure about Aurelio's defending. I don't think there is any doubt that left back is going to be up for improvement come the summer. I don't know who we'd target, but I'm sure we can do better than those two. Especially, if we're going to have a greater scope for spending.

We've GOT to have a solid back line.
No! I am NOT in denial!
